Pickld Pepper

Pickld Pepper

Every match. Every game. On your wrist.

Coming soon to the App Store

iPhone with iOS 26. Apple Watch optional.

Built for the court

Score From Your Wrist

Turn the Digital Crown to set the score between rallies. Haptics confirm every change, and the next game or the next match is one tap away — no reaching for your phone between points.

A Real Workout, Not a Stopwatch

The Watch runs a genuine pickleball workout, so heart rate and active calories are measured rather than estimated. Everything is saved to Apple Health as a pickleball workout when you finish.

No Watch? No Problem

The iPhone is a full recorder on its own. Prepare a session, start it, score it and finish it without a Watch anywhere in sight. A session recorded that way has every match, game and minute of it — just no heart rate.

Sessions, Matches, Games

One trip to the court is a session, and it holds as many matches as you play. Singles or doubles, indoor or outdoor, first to 11 and win by two — with no artificial cap, so 15–13 is a real result.

Stats That Count Games

Game win rate and point differential side by side, recent form as a margin chart, your record against each opponent, and how you actually do in an even matchup versus an uphill one.

Private by Design

No account to create, no sign-in, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, no ads. Your match history lives on your devices and in your own iCloud, and your health data never leaves your device at all.

Either device can lead

Prepare a session on the phone and start it on the Watch, or the other way round. Whichever one you are scoring on drives the session, and the other becomes a live mirror of it. The Watch is what adds heart rate and calories — recording the match never depends on owning one.

iCloud sync

Your sessions, matches, games and opponents sync across your iPhones through your own iCloud account. No server of ours is ever involved. Heart rate and calories are deliberately left out of that sync and stay on the device that measured them.

No subscription, no unlock, no ads, no account. The whole app, from the first match.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. The iPhone app prepares, starts, scores, pauses and finishes a session entirely on its own, and that is the normal way to use it. What a Watch adds is a workout — heart rate and active calories, measured on your wrist — plus scoring without taking your phone onto the court. Nothing else about recording a match depends on one.

How is a game scored?

First to 11, win by 2, with no upper cap. 11–10 is not a finished game; 15–13 and 17–15 are. A match is the set of games you play against the same opponent, and a session is everything you played on one trip to the court.

What's the difference between a session, a match and a game?

A session is one visit to the court and can contain several matches, so it can hold both wins and losses. A match contains its games. Your session record is counted in matches, a match's record in games, and the Stats tab goes one grain finer and counts every game you have played.

What gets saved to Apple Health?

When you record a session with your Apple Watch, it is saved as a pickleball workout with its duration, heart rate and active calories, indoor or outdoor as you set it. Pickld Pepper reads heart rate and calories only while a workout is running, and writes only the workout you just played.

Does my data sync between devices?

Your match history — sessions, matches, games and opponents — syncs between your iPhones through your personal iCloud account. Heart rate and calories are excluded on purpose: App Store rules do not permit health information to be stored in iCloud, so those measurements stay on the device that recorded them.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Export every match as a CSV file at any time from the Profile tab. You can also delete all of your data there in one step. Your records belong to you.

Does it handle doubles?

Yes. Pick singles or doubles when you set up a match, and in doubles you can name your partner. Partners are kept separate from opponents, so a teammate never lands in your head-to-head record.

What are the matchup and effort ratings for?

They are context for reading a record, never part of one. Marking a match as even or uphill lets Stats show how you do at each level, and rating a session's effort from 1 to 10 groups your results into light, moderate and hard days. Neither one changes your win rate, which stays a plain count of games won.

Is there an account or a subscription?

Neither. There is no sign-up, no login and nothing to buy. The app is free and complete, with no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking of any kind.

What does Pickld Pepper require?

An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. The Watch app requires watchOS 26 or later and a paired Apple Watch. iCloud sync requires an iCloud account. The app is designed for iPhone; iPad is not supported yet.
